{"id":8,"date":"2012-07-17T16:41:40","date_gmt":"2012-07-17T16:41:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.curethatcold.co.uk\/?page_id=8"},"modified":"2012-08-24T10:34:28","modified_gmt":"2012-08-24T10:34:28","slug":"why-bother","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.curethatcold.co.uk\/?page_id=8","title":{"rendered":"Why bother?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Why Bother?<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>How does a cold make you feel?<\/li>\n<li>Do existing treatments work?<\/li>\n<li>How do you feel when somebody near you at work has a cold?<\/li>\n<li>As more people cure their colds there will be fewer opportunities for the infection to be spread.<\/li>\n<li>For some people a cold is not a trivial illness:<\/li>\n<li>I know one apparently otherwise healthy young adult who spent two weeks in hospital in intensive care as a result of a cold.<\/li>\n<li>My mother had COPD and every minor infection resulted in being taken to hospital and put on oxygen.<\/li>\n<li>In informal trials I demonstrated how to cure a cold to several groups of 8 to 12 people.
